About

Hello, you are at ones and zeros, a Tumblelog by Shona Ghosh.

Lovingly ripping off the excellent @brainpicker, this is a digital repository of shiny things involving balloons, silent discos and/or Paul Simon where possible.

I dump a lot of this stuff on my Twitter feed.

I have a more seriousish website here.

There is an RSS feed right at the bottom of this blog, if you're interested.

(I really like Paul Simon)

Looking for something specific?

Archipelago is a game and a sculpture in pieces and an intervention in the busyness of a city.
Each player or group of players is given a time and a location – there they will find a strange assemblage of objects that they have to study and then remake in another location in another part of the city. Over the course of the day this assemblage is made and remade in a series of locations across the city, travelling from East to West, like a game of Chinese Whispers with objects.
Andy Field, artist.
I’m not sure I’d call that a sculpture but we tried. We found the previous assemblage (the second or third in the series, I think) and, um, ‘reinterpreted’ it on Cousin Lane. We were crouched pretty uncomfortably on those stairs - only three steps down, the Thames was rising pretty quickly.
